If you’ve been following Santana since the beginning you know that this amazing outfit from San Francisco has gone through many, many eras. As early as 1969, the group became an immediate sensation. The release of their groundbreaking eponymous debut effort brought out phenomenal hits, such as “Jingo,” “Evil Ways,” and “Soul Sacrifice.” After their highly successful debut, Santana moved on to become a monumental powerhouse, dropping incredibly influential albums Abraxas, Santana II, Amigos, tons more. By the time they reached their 70s era, the band was pretty much at a legendary status. Their tremendous success continued – showcasing their amazing penchant for dropping radio friendly hits and ability to perform their magnificent studio records live.
Just when fans thought that the greatest era of Santana was in the 70s and 80s, the band took the 90s to the next level.
